Ronald Field, Ph.D.

President and CEO

Clinical Psychologist / Neuropsychologist

 

Dr. Field is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychological assessment of children, adolescents, and adults.  He has been a Professional Member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology since 2000.  Dr. Field provides assessment of ADHD / academic problems, traumatic brain injury, stroke and dementia, and other neurological and psychological issues.  He is a member of the Medical Staff at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, NY.

Paola Bekker, LCSW

Paola Bekker is a bilingual/bicultural graduate of the Social Work program at Fordham University. She has received specialized training in trauma and family violence with an emphasis on the study of victimology. Ms. Bekker has extensive clinical experience treating children, adolescents and adult survivors of trauma. In addition to her work with this specialized population, Ms. Bekker has treated adults presenting with marital conflict and individuals with concerns around anxiety, depression and difficulty with mood regulation. Ms. Bekker places a strong emphasis on the patient being the change agent and focuses on bringing patient’s individual strengths and interests to the surface.

Doris Berardo, LCSW-R

Ms. Berardo is a New York State licensed clinical social worker who specializes in the treatment of adults with mood and anxiety disorders.

Caroline Brown, LCSW

Caroline is a New York Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She graduated from Middlesex University, London, United Kingdom in 1995, where she specialized in rehabilitation of offending behavior, substance abuse in adults and with young offenders. Caroline has worked in social work in New York since 2001 and received her Post - Graduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Therapy from Fordham University. She works with clients with issues with depression, anxiety, addiction, HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, personal, professional change, and transition.  Caroline completed her training with the Alternative to Violence Project and is a recent board member for The National Council on Family and Domestic Violence.  She is focused on joining with you to discover your unique strengths to address your specific concerns, and to support you in your journey to recovery, healing, hope, acceptance and connection.

Shirley Falconer, LCSW-R

Ms. Falconer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has over twenty years of experience in a variety of settings serving diverse clientele, which includes children, young adults, individuals and families.  Ms. Falconer tailors her approach and interventions to the needs of her clients, and is committed and invested in the well-being of each client, with the goal of promoting desired goals and change.

Leroy Hankins, LCSW

Mr. Hankins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years experience of providing clinical services and supports for children, individuals and families. Specializing in Play Therapy, Psychotherapy, a blend of CBT and Behavioral Modification focused modalities, and alternative self awareness methods with emphasis on conscious breathing and meditation techniques.

Leslie Kotzker, LCSW

Leslie Kotzker obtained her MSW from Adelphi University. She has worked in the field of social work for 11 years and has a wide array of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Some of her experience includes working with traumatic brain injury, child welfare, issues with trauma, and substance abuse.

Victoria Krikorian, LMHC

Victoria Krikorian brings to Riverview Psychological Services seven years of experience in the mental health and substance abuse field. Victoria graduated in 2005 from Hofstra University with a bachelors degree in psychology and film production. In 2014 she graduated from Pace University's Masters in mental health counseling and is licensed to practice counseling in NY State. Victoria has experience treating those who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self esteem and identity issues. Victoria uses an eclectic approach including DBT, Person Centered, Psychoanalytic and Solution Focused theories.

Kelli Robbins, LCSW

Kelli Robbins is a New York State Licensed Clinic Social Worker who graduated from New York University in 1996.  She has 22 years’ experience working with families, individuals, and people with Autism to help with symptoms of anxiety, depression and other diagnoses.  She has a relaxed style and is person centered.

Miriam Surval, LCSW-R
Ms. Surval is a New York State licensed clinical social worker who has worked at a state run mental health clinic for over 20 years. Previous to that she worked at the crisis team in Tuckahoe.. She specializes in the treatment of adults with substance abuse as well as personality and mood disorders.

Melodie Weldon, LMHC

Melodie Weldon is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a ten-year background in empowering people to overcome obstacles by adopting healthy behaviors. Melodie has experience with developing educational programs and interactive experiences that inspire all age groups to make healthy choices, while developing coping skills to manage negative emotions. Ms. Weldon believes that it’s important that people learn healthy, skills-based strategies to reduce social stressors, build healthier relationships, and improve their mental and emotional health. She is a strong believer in the power of positive thinking and has been trained in DBT, CPT, SFBP and AMSR evidence based practices, which has assisted with helping clients improve their emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Ms. Weldon also has experience with conducting Women Wellness groups and providing in-home services to expecting moms dealing with mood changes, new life roles and child development.
